Amir was our tour guide for the Neuschwanstein castle tour from Füssen. As we passed by the long lines of people waiting to get tickets, I was happy we booked with Special Private Tours. Our group of 13 was the perfect size, unlike the large groups we saw packed on large buses. The history of the castle and the area was exactly what we were looking for. Amir was awesome!

We planned to visit Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles in high season, and Special Private Tours proved to be the perfect choice! Amir, our superb guide, took us on a magical tour of both castles, bypassing the long tickets lines and enriching the experience with interesting information on the history of this enchanting place. The tour was flexibly arranged to accommodate our needs. We could easily communicate and coordinate with Amir before the tour and everything was as promised, actually – above and beyond. And reasonably priced. We also had a pleasant conversation with Amir during the tour, and he gladly answered all our questions, from both parents and children.

Amazing tour, the horse ride is the best option to go up and down the castle.
The tour guide, Amir, was waiting for us 20 mins before the schedule at the meeting point.

The tour was phenomenal! Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the castle, and its absolutely brilliant and underrated creator, King Ludwig II. My husband booked this tour for my birthday, and I consider it to be the best birthday experience I have ever had! We plan to go back and bring friends with us the next time!

Amir was our guide, and he was such a pleasure. Our family met in the parking lot as described, and he gave us a good intro to what to expect. He coordinated the horse carriage ride to the top and met us up there. From there he continued with a very in-depth knowledge of the history of the area and the castle before our tickets let us in for the self-guided tours of the castle. He gave us a good deal of tips on what to look for inside the castle, which we never would have known without his guidance. Afterward, he met us outside and gave us some final history of the castle and the royal family. We finished by walking us back down and giving us area suggestions for the rest of our day. We felt very well taken care of, and he was a true professional. It was night and day, better than booking the tickets to the castle alone. I would recommend it to everyone!
